Limited User Accounts - How it works?
I have spend far above 5$ during last year for games in Steam Shop. Since few days I have this 'Limited User Account'. Why? Is it somewhere written that I have to pay 5$ every year or something like this?

It's a bug going around, they are fixing accounts it seems. Check back later.

EDIT: The first post in the thread linked below has a thing you can do to fix it, report how it works.

Just to be sure, where you lvl 0 before? And you could do everything you can't now like use the market or send friend requests? How long ago?

I have instaled DEMO and run it. But it doesn't work in my case :(
So I have to wait.
Thanks again for help!

Try a free2play game also.

If it doesn't solve itself tomorrow or something report back.

Just to be clear, how much above 5$ have you spent on Steam?
Check here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

More than 8 euro so it should be safe from the currency change.
Buy the way, is it possible to filter the history of trades? I have all trades together, from the Shop and Community Market.

There shouldn't be any accounts that are incorrectly limited anymore. More than likely the amount you spend is more than $5 USD if you look at today's exchange rates, but wasn't enough at the time of purchasement.

That said, it sounds like you're close to reaching it. Check your logs for purchases and how much USD it was as the time, add it up and see how much you're lacking.

During last few years (2-3) it was never happed that 1 euro was less then 1 $. So, if I spent 8.25 euro it means I spent > 5$ for sure. And I have this 'Limited User Account' still. So I'm afraid you are not completely right.

Fair point.

But, did you spend that amount within the Steam store? You make it sound like you spend it on market and the likes.

Directly within the Steam Store, not at the Community Market.
I had similar situation a year ago and filled my wallet up to 5$. Since that time I made some other purchase (~3.5 euro). So, I am sure that I spent > 5$.

The last purchase was 2016-03-19.

Only games and game bundles in Steam Store.

We are talking about a purchase of a game or hardware from the steam store, right? Not a key from elsewhere or getting a gift or a market transaction.
You only need to spend it once to become unlimited, you're thinking of the market thing.

Since he is lvl 0 he is probably limited, just owning one game should get you to lvl 1.
