Unity 5 64 bit games crashing on startup
Flashes the "Launching" tab, then closes, the game syncs, and it removes the "running" status.
AMD Opteron 185 @ 2.6ghz, Nvidia 750ti, 8gb of ECC RAM. 32 bit games work perfectly well, as do Unity 4 64 bit games. It runs Windows 7 Pro.

Neither adresses this.
It's only Unity 5 games, and only 64 bit Unity 5.

You did not follow all the steps in either article in 2 minutes.

So this is a server then ? Do you have other programs installed on there ? Can you describe the system more, please ?

Habit, I already checked those.
Giving, It is not a server, it runs Windows 7 Pro, and I do have other programs installed.. None tamper with the OS or Steam.

Your title says you have ECC memory. Don't you mean "non-ECC" memory, then ? That is why I asked and your CPU is a server CPU.

Post a screenshot of the installed programs, please. Use this site if you wish imgur.com

The 185 is a workstation class. And I do mean ECC. non-ecc means non-error correcting.

Right, but personal computers are supposed to use non-ECC, right ? What is the motherboard you have ?

What about those screenshots also, please. Thanks.

Motherboard shouldn't effect this. I use ecc because I don't like losing data. Non-ecc is faster, but at the expense of errors. ECC corrects errors, but is slower. Screenshots in a sec, but I can say I tried Unturned (Classic: Unity 4, runs fine, V3: Unity 5: crash in 64bit) and Kerbal Space Program (1.1 Unity 5 32bit: runs fine, 1.1 Unity 5 64bit: crashes. 1.0.5 Unity 4 64 bit: unstable but runs, 1.0.5 Unity 4 32 bit runs fine.)

Why do you refuse to answer questions that we ask to try to help you ?

I know what ECC vs. non-ECC means, thanks. I am asking you to post the motherboard and those screenshots.....PLEASE.

motherboard is an ASUS A8N32SLI. Not quite sure how that affects anything, other than bus speed.
screenshots of KSP failing, and running 32 bit, along with Unturned 3 failing. Both run as 64 bit applications in Unity 5 when failing, and 32 bit in 5 or 64 bit in 4.

EDIT..I see you edited that out so thanks.

I am asking you for a screenshot or shots of ALL of your installed programs on that computer, please. This will be the last time I ask you and then I will have to assume that I personally cannot help you and maybe someone else can.

By the way you answered that, it seems very likely that you may have problematic software that may be conflicting with Steam.

I am not kidding. I am kindly asking for you to do exactly that.
