Account Login Without Steam Confirmation

Hello, I'm playing Knight Online, 16.04.2016 my account Items are lost. and I was sure I cannot be hacked because I only use steam account on my computer nothing else. so I sent it to ticket Knight Online Support at the first moment I realized my account items are lost. It was just in 10min. I think there is a bug with my items because there is no confirmation E-Mails sented to me to login to steam, I dont know how its possible.

Knight Online Support answer is; "your account has login from several places. and we do not give your lost or change anything." Simply they not take any responsibility and throw the ball steam. Steam not reply my ticket yet.

Soo I'm asking, is there a way the pass trough to steam securtiy the enter the game without my permisson? and how is that be my fault? Please help on this stiation.

Do you still have full control of the email that is attached to your Steam account and can log into it ok ?

Do you have a phone number attached to your Steam account ?

Have you clicked on any suspicious links lately, like in a chat or other, or did you get any invites with requests to look at screenshots of items and you clicked on them...anything like that ?

Seems they have removed some items from the game. Is that what you are talking about ?

Have you searched the game forum for anyone else with a similar issue ?

They didn't need to log into Steam to get at the OP's account in this MMO - they just needed the standalone client from the game's main website and the OP's login details for the game. I'd suggest the OP starts doing some malware scans to find and remove the infection on their system.

I see. I was not sure since what you said does make sense, so I was just asking the normal questions but thanks for the clarification. I gave that pinned thread link also so I am not sure if those just happen to be the items he is talking about but one would think the support for the game would have told him that.

The pinned therad is dated April 13 so I don't know....thanks again.

No its not related the issue I'm having, its knight online official sales they just stop the sales for temporary .

My character Items are lost, and they told me your account have login from diffrent places, soo I wonder how is it possible without steam permisson, they need to verifie the computer from diffrent IP adress to login steam, I check my e-mail for the steam confirmation mail, and there is no IP adresses listed for login to steam. I also check and restore the deleted E-Mails for the possibilty the hacker may delete the e-mail from steam confirmation. but there is no any other IP request the login steam. If there is no login the steam how they able to login my knight online account. who can be responsible for that.

This is a user forum and we can only offer advice and try to give suggestions here, as this is not Steam support or Valve that you are talking to.

Like the good Brujeira suggested, maybe you should consider scanning for malware and other possible infections on your system. Malwarebytes is the usual recommendation here that we give and that is good for malware. Scan using safe mode and as intensively as you can, also scanning for keyloggers and rootkits.

If this was me, I would use Steam Guard to disable all other devices that could be using your account, and also change all my personal information for email and Steam accounts on a DIFFERENT computer ASAP. Don't do it on that computer if there is an infection, because that can just give the info away to the attacker, if there is one.

You did not answer my questions above about clicking on anything lately, for example in a chat or other so maybe you should think as to how this may have happened to you, if there is an account compromise here that is.

Every user's account is their own responsibility. This forum is about Steam so if you have a game related issue, then I suggest you ask about it in the game forum for Knight Online.

Is that game steam exclusive?
If not, they dont need to breach steam related things.
But if you did not give away your game account details
a) something gathers info from your computer
b) the company of the game had a security problem (could be a combination of weak password and lack of brute force protection)
c) would be email, if you arent sure its safe.

No I didnt click any suspicius web site or downloaded any 3.party apllication. I did scan my system there is no malware or keyloggers are founded. I do ask the knight online forum too, they think I hacked by teamwiever by using my computer, but I wasn't leave the computer that time.

No I didnt give any account details except my brother which is we live together. :) as I say I control my email there is no confirmation mail from steam to login for other computer. that is the odd thing because Knight Online support says your account login from sevaral diffrent places.

also there is no authenticated device in my steam account.

The game does not require Steam. So your Steam account does not need to be compromised for someone gaining access to your Knight Online account.

Thats diffrent, Knight Online have USKO you connect directly to game diffrent servers. and the new SteamKO is complitalty diffrent servers.
