Skins I have seen, but that is for the main Client, not BPM.
All I have seen that can be changed for BPM is the Wallpaper and few of the graphics; nothing spectacular; at least not in an easy to apply "skin" just for Steam BPM.
Alienware released the URL in their Forums, so that anyone can apply that to their Steam Client/BPM if they like. But Alienware AlphaUI was designed with KODI, and then works in-conjunction with Steam Client + BPM. It's not just a Steam Skin, but a Shell replacement for WinOS. Giving the Alpha system basically a user-friendly HTPC UI, even if you have WinOS on the system. Now because this was designed using KODI, it's not just for Steam Client.
Some good Steam Client Skins here:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/pressureskin
More are under "Pressure² isn't for everyone" if u look there on that main page.
I prefer "Metro_for_Steam" myself.
Here's some other useful info, based on what I talked about above.
- KODI - Open Source Software[kodi.tv]
- Alienware AlphaUI for Windows Desktop 8.1 & 10, 64bit only[na.alienwarearena.com]
- Alienware AlphaUI gets updated, take a Dev look
What does that even mean? If u don't like the Hivemind/AlphaUI; don't use it.
Then just use Steam Client/BPM normally.
Im looking for a dedicated system not simply because it's COOL or EASY, but also because a dedicated system runs better performance wise.
hivemind runs better than windowsos mostly because all the background applications arn't running, the computer no longer allocates it's resource for the windows shell, nvidia control panel, settings, etc. This is why I want to use hivemind and more importantly find a way to bypass all the other crap in hivemind and get straight to steam
