Error while updating/downloading games.
Hello
I made this help thread a while ago and the help i was given didnt do too much.
The problem i am having is when i go to download or update a game it constantly pauses the download and says 'An error has occured while updating plantside 2 (download corrupt)
This means i have to keep clicking the download button to slowly update a game, which take a very long time.
I have never seen anyone having the same problem.

Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Try a different download region under [Steam > Settings > Downloads]

Try cord, if you're on Wi-Fi.

Put the region back to the one that you normally use and hook an ethernet cable up directly from your modem to your computer. See this support page on the subject...

Bypass the router and use ethernet only.

So, take the compuer to the modem and hook up an ethernet cable to it from your modem.

If there are floors and walls between them, don't you think that can affect it ? Yes, even if you never have seen this before. Eliminate the router from the equation. It is the first step, and said so on that page that was linked.
