Steam keeps disconnecting for no reason...

This has been an issue to me for a couple months now.
Sometimes when I leave a chatbox open from talking to a friend, a few mins later I check back on it, and it's just spammed with "Lost connection to Steam, will rejoin chat automatically when connection regained." followed by "Connected again and rejoined chat" multiple times, and it's bugging me so.. so much. My internet is pretty strong, and nothing else disconnects aside from skype on rare occasions.. anyone else currently having this issue, and is there any way to fix it.. or..?

Cannot say it is related to your issue here specifically, but Skype is on this list...

and just I alone have seen it mess with Steam here many times for others on different issues. Yes, even when they never had any issues with it before.

I don't have this issue.

What's your operating system?

When you leave the chatbox open for a few minutes, and go do something, has something happened on the computer meanwhile? Does the issue not happen when you're actively using your computer?

If it hasn't always been an issue, any recalls to what've changed those "couple months" ago?

Windows 10

As for anything else happening, no.. I just watch youtube videos, or I go afk to use the bathroom or get snacks. Nothing weird appears to happen, and the issue happens when I'm active. Usually when browsing something or just doing whatever, I check back and the chat is just spammed with "you've reconnected" etc.

And I just use Wi-Fi. - As for anything being used in that list, only skype I think.
