Then dont trade or use the market. Simple enough. Valves house Valves rules.

Virtual cards are pretty much worthless anyway. No big loss on either end.
Just use me if you have to.
The last thing I'd want would be someone stealing my account, changing my e-mail and stealing all my items. Thanks Valve for trying to protect us from our ignorance.:tec:

I agree, but perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to reduce/drop a few cooldowns if one has the mobile authenticator already enabled for some time.

It's the kind of incentive that could push more and more people to look into it.

well i think that my mobile authentication, old password authentication and old gmail authentication is good enough.
you have a mobile authenticator app why not add a security code section in there for any trade transaction? It really doesn't get a whole lot more secure than an authenticator with a code on my personal cell phone. (just saying) I get that in the scheme of things it makes sense to someone, somwhere on your end however from a consumer standpoint time is money and we are buying online for instant gradification. Not delayed. It would raise a few red flags on my end if this were my company. This doesn't effect me as I do not trade but I can understand both sides.
WHat's unbelievable is that people are still managing to get scammed...

That shows clearly, that the added security is total useless. We all are not able to make foolproof systems. And it angers the intelligent customers, because Valve thinks they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, too.

Maybe an intelligence test as entrance exam for allowing to disable the added security would make more sense. I have no problem with that.
