my recent activity & friendlist randomly disappear from my account

also when this happens i cant make posts anywhere, showing me that my acount isnt allowed to do it.
if i restart steam it get fixed but it happens again.

halp me

to post this forced to restart steam

this msg appears the first time

"There was an error creating a new topic: Your account is not allowed to post in discussions.
Visit Steam Support for more information."

i noticed that this started after i completely removed few games from my acount through support

This happened to me a couple of hours ago. Friends list just disappeared. It came back a bit later. Maybe give it some time to see if it gets addressed.

About the posts, I cannot say. Maybe that is tied to the 'bug' somehow. Sorry if that is not really helpful but wanted to tell you I did see the friends list go away also.

EDIT..Correction....my friends list is now missing again. LOL

My Steam here is still buggin out on me a bit also. Friends list comes and goes and notifications are all messed up too. I get notifications but when I click to open them, I get "error processing your request" message and it reports that I have no new notifications at this time...LOL

Sorry about your problem there but it maybe just needs to work it way out in time. Thanks.

It's an issue for me too. Not a client related one though since I had it before I swapped from May 20th's to May 27th's build, and May 20th's definitely worked earlier for me.

I can't see friend activity properly, neither do chat messages I received while I was offline display correctly for me. (I'm seeing a message from last night instead even though that's definitely not the last word I had in the PM at the time.)

Thanks, Teutep. This is a bit unusual as far as Steam bugs go, from my limited experience that is.

My list sometimes comes back for a brief moment and all is well again but now it is missing again.

Go online and you should see all the present messages at least.
