VAC ban inventory ? [CS:GO] Help please

So, one of my friend plays csgo very well, so he has been repoted a lot. He afraid to get banned and lost his 2 knifes.
But, do we lost our csgo inventoryif we get banned ?

No. You don't lose your inventory if you get banned.

If you get VAC banned/Game Banned on CSGO; your items from that game will be locked forever and cannot be sold or traded.

VAC doesn't work via sheer reports though. Your friend will get VAC banned only, and only if cheat signatures are detected on his computer.

While your friend won't lose the inventory, CS:GO inventories will be locked in place should he get VAC banned.

Again, sheer reports don't get anyone banned.

If he gets Game Banned; his skins will be locked in his inventory and they can't be sold or traded but he can still use them. Users can only be banned if the reports are deemed credible too.

VAC does not function based on reports of any kind. Game bans do though. Read the pinned thread on VAC in the VAC forum for more information if you wish. There is also one there on game bans. Thanks.

Well since a previous update VAC banned accounts cant even play workshop maps anymore so essentially yes, the items will be lost . They would be locked in place never to be used or traded anymore. Only thing is that u technically still own them but most u can do to "use" them is looking on your profile

Nothing about the ban will prevent you from playing workshop maps. Just have to be non-VAC enabled servers.

Skins are locked to the account though.
