Can you transfer a game on CD over to Steam?

So basically me and some friends wanted to play Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption via Gameranger, but it does`nt work. any ideas/help?

If it came with a game/CD key, then you can try adding it to Steam. If it did not, then there is no way to add it to a Steam account.

Chances are it will not work though, as the others have pointed out.
