Post limit?

I recently hit some post limit and I've just been allowed to post again, does anyone know how long they last? Also how many posts do I need to make to hit the limit?

Generally you need to wait about a day, how many posts depends on where you make those posts.
In Discussions i think the limit was 200 posts a day. A lot less with profile comments.

I think it's like 250 posts per rolling 24 hours.

edit: could be 200 as mentioned about. The amount is high enough that you shouldn't hit it. If you hit the limit frequently, then spend more time writing quality posts and less one liners.

200, I am almost positive. I get this often here.

EDIT..Well, on the weekends or holidays only, really. Then, I spend much time helping in the forums or posting in discussions.

Thanks, but the ban wasn't for 24 hours. It was closer to 12.

Also do posts in groups count towards the limit?

It's a rolling 24 hours... Yes, all discussion posts count from anywhere on the Community.

Pretty sure the groups do count. And it may seem like 12 but like he said, it is "rolling" 24 hours. I think it is calculated from the first post you make in any given 24 hour period starting from a certain point in your post history, not starting at any given time of day.

hey there, id like to ask you why i have this error after i post 2 a trade discussions a day..? so i just came back from my vacation and started trading again and when i make 2 trading post in the trading discussion then i need to wait like 10-15 hours until this error dissapear
