Lag/Rubber-banding with internet that is fine
So I have AT&T U-verse and had always had trouble with internet crashes, slow internet, etc. A technician from AT&T came in and replaced our whole system as it was outdated and wrong. Now it works fine, I have a constant 40 ms when on pingtest.net and a jitter of 10ms and under. But when I play games like csgo and rocket league, I am constantly rubber-banding and being teleported places near me. When I look at net_graph (for csgo) it says my ping is normal, but when I press tab and look at the ping next to my username, it says it is 200+. How can I fix this?

Some information on your system there would help.

Operating system ?

Is that OS 32 or 64 bit ?

Router or no router ?

Got any software from this list ?

Sorry about that, but to answer:
Operating System: Windows 10
64 Bit
Router (Connected Wireless)
I have McAfee installed, but I have always had it (not saying it's still not a problem)

Use ethernet only directly to the modem for now. See this...

McAfee is on the list. Follow the three steps there for McAfee, in order. You MUST verify game files for any game you are going to test AFTER you perform any of these steps. Do that as suggested here...

1. Make sure you have real-time exclusions for Steam and games. Test again.
2. Disable McAfee. Test again.
3. Fully uninstall all McAfee software from your computer, restart your computer. Click Start then type msconfig and then click the tab "services" and check "hide all Microsoft services" and see if ANY McAfee processes are still left running even after you uninstalled McAfee.
Test it again.

Is McAfee the ONLY program from that entire list ? Not just talking about AV programs...ANY of them from top to bottom. Thanks.
