Unfortunately, the two factors that will affect that aren't listed in your post. Namely power supply, and the size of your case (and how many open slots it has.) That being said, you already appear to have a full size GPU in your case, so we can assume you have at least one PCI-E slot. Also most configurations of the HD 77XX series are double wide, same as the RX 480X. So far so good.

To the PSU side of things, the HD 7770 (just as an example) requires just 80 watts compared to the 175 the RX 480X will require. The RX 480X also requires 2 six-pin power connectors instead of one. So you definitely need to check your PSU before buying. Also, if you have a single width HD 77XX, you need to confirm you can fit a double wide card in your case.

It should. Make sure your case can fit it, and your power supply is up to task.

What make and model PSU are you using?

The exact model of the power supply is more important than the number of watts it says.
