Realm of the Mad God.exe has stopped working
It comes up a message like that when i try to run rotmg on steam, and then it crashes. It's not because of "bad servers" which i've seen much of because i can play on browser but that is just horrible to play on. If anybody could help me that would be great!

Post the computer that you have, model and model number.

If it is custom built, post the motherboard.

Have you tried to run the game in compatability mode for Windows XP SP 2 or XP SP 3 yet ? It is an older game, so maybe it needs to run in that compatability mode for an older OS.

Did you do a clean install of Windows 10 or was this an upgrade from a previous OS ?

Either way, did you download and install all the drivers from here....

Yes i have tried running in compatibility mode, and it still didnt work unfortunately.

And yes that is my board, and i have installed all the drivers from there, and it still doesn't work. I could play it when i used Win 8, but playing it in comp mode still doesn't work so i'm really unsure what this problem is

Sorry, but you still are not specifically answering my questions here. Nevermind, as it seems you did an upgrade to Windows 10 instead of a clean install, unless I am wrong and please say so if I am.

You said you installed all the drivers from there. What about the GPU drivers from Nvidia only ?

And please do this..

Post screenshots of all of your installed programs that you have on that computer. You can use imgur.com and post the links here. It is free to upload them there and do this. Post more shots if needed if the list is too large for one shot.

I did an upgrade to win 10 yes.

I don't have Windows 10, but in Windows 7 you go to control panel and then programs or installed programs and then that list is what I am asking for, please. EVERY program that you have installed on your computer currently.

EDIT..As far as I know you still cannot copy and paste the text of the programs, so this is why I ask for screenshots.

Well, before I take much time here going through all this and trying to help you get your Windows 10 issues sorted out using these shots you just posted, please make up your mind as to what you are going to do and reply with the answer. If you are going to go back to Windows 8.1 (and hopefully you would be doing a clean install then of course) then this is all done now.

Since you SAID you have FULLY updated all the drivers from the manufacturer's website and took the time to post the shots and make them, I would suggest we continue here just as we were so far. In the meantime, I would suggest also you go to the official site for ASUS that was linked above and read up on BIOS updates as well. Not always, but sometimes changing the OS on a computer means you need to update the BIOS, so read up on the release notes of the BIOS files there, please, as in the newest ones.

Make sure I have linked the correct board above, please.

Ok...right off the bat I see issues here.

and for some, have been known to conflict with Steam. I suggest that you uninstall all of these programs using control panel and uninstall programs from Windows, and then RESTART your computer.

THEN, verify the game files of Realm Of the Mad God EXACTLY as suggested here...
