Seagate Problem?

Recently, seagate 1TB was on and has most of my game files there so I can play games for Steam, then all of a sudden, it dc from it while I was playing Witcher 3. So I remove the drive then back in...it does recognize the drive but the game won't work and I check Storage and its not appearing at all on Windows 10. Help? Idk why this starts now, been using it almost a year?

I have no idea what it is that you read or where you read it. It would be helpful when asking things like this to link the page or source and maybe copy and paste the text, if it is not too long of course. At least link the source of the information if you can.

Ok trying it now, just uninstall it but the light is still on unless I unplug it but restarting windows now...prob my last since I restart it so many times, idk if it would damage it further.

Did the steps, nothing changed. "When Windows Has Fully Loaded" does this mean when it was done restarting to the sign in pin screen or on the desktop itself is where I plug the usb. Should I use Thumbscrew?

That was just the first post in that thread. The one about the driver uninstall and reboot. The command prompt one is there also. Scroll down. I have never used Thumbscrew, so I don't know what that is or does.

EDIT..Fully loaded Windows means that you can use desktop and everything is finished. Just give it some time after you reboot.

Ok, well I am very tired, since the whole day was focused on the hard drive to work as well driving to Bestbuy to get cord, then back again to get new different kind of external hard drive then tried to use seagate recovery which made me wait for almost 5 hours, then found out that can't recover the data of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ limit so I had to buy it for 100$...man, what a bad day it was today...well I will keep going tomorrow. I really appreciated for your help and your patience for my ability to not able to fully understand the situation, and continuing to help me out and giving me info on ways to fix it. Thank you. I will let you know tomorrow on what I have found out since I post the problem on many sites to find help, even on razer forums.

I decide to buy the recovery program for 100$, but its worth it since if I have a same problem with my other hard drive, I can recovered it again. I am trying to figure out about adding internal hard drive 1TB but seems hard choice. Anyway, once again, thank you for helping me out as well for others responding to this post!
