Account picture/profile picture problems

Hey! Every time I upload a photo to my account as a profile picture it uploads it in a different orientation... So for example, my current profile pic is my dog, the picture is in the right orientation on my phone... But when I chose it via account settings and clicked upload, it uploaded 90 degrees anti-clockwise/counter clockwise. Why is it doing this?
It's driving me crazy!

P.S. I've tried rotating it the opposite way in an editing app to try and counter act the random rotation but when I've uploaded these, it's uploaded in the correct orientation the photo was in... So I tried the original picture again, but nope... 90 degrees anti-clockwise!

Try using Microsoft paint and edit that picture to 184 pixels X 184 pixels and save that edited version. Try to upload that. You may need to rerotate it in Paint AFTER you edit it to this size and BEFORE you save it and try to upload it.
