Let me guess, that situation happened for you or others with an infection?
Why on earth should steam produce a system that hides infections so the user can conveniently browse steam while having an infected computer? You should be glad that your infection is that obvious. Because you have hard times allready when its in front of your face to do the right steps. A hidden infection would appear non existent to you, i guess.
AdsKeeper is companion of torrent clients and other pirate staff, it not infected by Steam or legal games

Keep thinking its valves fault if you are so inclined
If one the first things he did was installing some kind of freeware right after format, that would explain why it still was present after formatting and reinstalling windows.
I never said it was Valve's fault. I was just saying that this so called semi-harmless malware/adware was ruining my experience and I was letting them know about it. I couldn't find a solution and so I wanted to let them know that.
I finally have this pc clean and can view things and do things I could not before. Still though I am not logged into Google Chrome and I am using a direction connection from my modem for internet so I don't know if when I introduce certain things back into play if they will allow for the problem to happen again. Anyway it has been a pain in the butt and some of the people on here saying certain things have not made it easier. I have rolled my eyes and gotten a headache from reading some of this stuff including your post Zetikla.
I didn't accuse them of anything. I did not point a direct finger at them. My goodness people!
From your OP
How is "fix a problem of my own creation" not blaming Steam
It is not Steams responsibility to clean the plethora of malware YOU installer
Not to mention your constant nonsense of insisting that you are not to blame for the infection
