easy disciption is when you are in your mail the words "showing 1-3 of 3 comment is the color of all 4 games usualy they are white in color and playable
I only have 1 account in the steam system. I did some restore on my computer.know it says update queued on both ATS and ETS2. when I look at the DLCs in both games they are uninstalled.
What happens when you click on them? Does it give you the option to install them? If so, are your games installed on an external drive by chance?
OP, see if you have the .acf files in your steamapps folder. That folder is inside the Steam folder. You should have an .acf file for each game that you have installed on your computer.
As the good shiel mentioned, where is Steam installed on your system ?
when I click on any game it has me install, however when I start the installI get this :
Steam-Error
An error occurred while installing ETS2 ( missing content manifest )
See the Steam support site for more information.
I went there and everything possible was tried .
what else is there to do
Steam is installed on my desk top however I opted out of the game on my computer.
Opted out of the game ? Not sure what that means...
Open the Steam folder. Then open the steamapps folder. Do you see .acf files there ?
Open the common folder. Do you see game folders there ? Game folders named the same as the games you have installed ?
I decided not to have the game icons on my desktop screen.
I do not see any .acf files
You only answered one of my qustions above about the .acf files. What about the game folders ?
If you knew about the "missing content manifest" error already, you should have already mentioned that here to us. A search of that error...

What is your antivirus program ?
There is no way you have "deleted everyting from your computer". It would not even turn on if you did that. I suggest that you be more clear here, please, if you want to get the proper help and so we fully understand what you have done there.
Ok my friend. You are not answering everything asked in one post. Please, when you reply, you need to address everything you are are replying to. Now I have to ask you yet again...
Where are the game folders for those games that you had installed on your computer ?
If you don't have any .acf files inside your steamapps folder, then that is why your Steam does not "see" the games as installed there as of now.
What about the link I gave you ?
Did you look at any of those posts to find a solution or possible cause of the issue ?
Yes VIPRE sorry about that. I read about all options nothing works. I am unable to delete completely from steam. I can see everything but unable to reinstall keep getting :
steam-error
An error occurred while installing ETS2 ( missing content manifest )
See the Steam support site for more information.
went there and am unable to get things to work
by the way most are saying to go to the properties, local files and check verify integrity of game cache. unable to click on it. greyed out.
