Mouse scrolling on steam too fast

Hi!

I was just wondering if mouse scrilling is god awfull for everyone or is it just me? With one nudge of mouse scroll, any page jumps more than i can fit on my screen and this normally scrolls down 3 rows on any other program. This has bothered me for a really long time.

Nice script thx to bhunt17. I've had this problems for a long time now but never searched for a fix since I use Big Picture most time. But still an issue and Valve should fix this IMHO.

Don't stress them, this is a very hard task. Simply changing a value and pushing an update is very very hard and time consuming. Also you have to hire a programmer for 5 minutes, it might cost them a fortune!

I think it's display scaling too. Maybe when more people are on 4k they will fix the problem.
I don't care anyway, It skips de Purchase button. Too bad for them.

Have you tried to Alt+Tab out of the game and then in? It correct the bug for me each time.

Yeah, summer of 2018 they still haven't fixed this. You'd think they'd notice just using their product for 5 min, it's pretty noticeable.

I switched from Win10 to Kubuntu, and scrolling in Steam is ridiculously sensitive. In Windows, it was fine. All my other programs on here, it's fine. Scrolling in Steam makes my hand cramp up it's so bad.

Having the exact same problem. One tick on my scroll wheel will scroll me down more than an entire screen size. As someone else pointed out, it doesnt seem to affect my scrolling while I'm in my library.

This is really annoying. Makes looking and buying games harder. I at least don't want to bother looking up games on Steam as it's a pain to scroll up and down to find the exactly right spot you want to see.
