forums.steampowered.com : does it belongs to steam ?
Hello,

Today I search the address of steam forums on bing and I found this website (forums.steampowered.com), where I entered my ID/PASSWORD.

Of course it didn't work :steamsad:. Does it belongs to steam or I better change my password right now ?

The old forums do not use the same credentials as the Steam client or the new discussions (this area). You need to create a new account there.

Yes, Valve owns forums.steampowered.com

So it's still safe, no need to change my password right now.
I don't understand why they keep this old forum... this can lead to many issue like mine :steamsad:.

The old forums are being phased out, but there are still a good number of users who prefer them.

There is still a good amount of helpful information on the old forums also, and having that available is an asset to us here when trying to help other or find solutions to our issues sometimes.
