Steam pages stuck (loading forever)
Recently, i've been having an issue with Steam. Sometimes when i'm using browsing the community pages, they will freeze the client, making so that I won't be able to access any other community pages and even the Store page, for some reason I can still check my library and launch games. The problem is fixed when I restart Steam but it will eventually come back after soe time.

Everything up to date
Windows 10

If the Store portion of your Steam client appears frozen and the loading wheel is spinning forever:
  1. Open Steam settings, and go to "Web Browser"
  2. Click "DELETE WEB BROWSER CACHE", and confirm.
  3. Click "DELETE WEB BROWSER COOKIES", and confirm
That's all there is to it!

This will give Steam's built-in browser a kick in the pants as soon as you close the settings screen, without having to do anything drastic like reinstalling, changing network settings, or even having to close and relaunch Steam.

The actual problem is that the very limited built-in browser is waiting to receive the rest of a transmission that was interrupted for one of any number of reasons, and it isn't sophisticated enough to know that it should give up after a while. All it would take is a "Cancel" button, if not an automatic timeout feature, but I guess the developers thought a software management platform should focus more on managing software than browsing the web. Go figure :P

Has nothing to do with it, I can even play online games without any problems (low pings aswell).

I would personally try reinstalling Steam. I've had a similar problem but mine was related to my Wifi. Try reinstalling steam and see if it works. Otherwise, it could just be something wrong on Steam's end.

I'm positive it's a Steam problem because other users reported the very same issue. I'm avoiding reinstalling the client without being 100% sure that it can fix the problem.

It should be fixed shortly if it's a steam issue. I would recommend waiting. However, if days go one and it doesn't progress, reinstalling does no harm.

Well, i've seen cases from 2014 onwards, so I don't think Steam will fix anything anytime soon. I'm trying to browse with the beta activated to see if it fixes the issue, now it's a matter of waiting.

Thanks for the replies, really apreciate it.

No such thing as 'fixed shortly' when we're talking about Steam. :steamhappy:

I'm having problem posting review as well. Tried with Palemoon/Steam client/Chrome all latest version to no avail. :rfacepalm:

Solution
This may be an old thread but still a perfectly current problem, and the likely solution takes about 10 seconds to execute:
