Could possibly this laptop run CS:GO... somehow?
Intel Pentium 2.16 Ghz
Intel HD graphics
4Gb RAM
x64 processor.
That's it. I know, this laptop wasn't made for gaming, but could it possibly run it at minimum settings?

Windows Mac OS X SteamOS + Linux
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows® 7/Vista/XP
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Storage: 8 GB available space
What exact Pentium is that ?

The minimum specs has dual core for Intel and X3 for AMD and the base frequency for the E6600 is 2.4 Ghz, so unless "max performance mode" for Windows would get you there, then there is that problem.

What exact HD graphics is that ? The exact model number or version number would be better to know.

Ehm, it's just "Intel HD graphics", the first and worse one. That's everything I could get.

We also need to know exactly what Pentium that you have.

Well, the game requires 256 MB of VRAM and you seem to only have 32, if I am reading that right as it is in your language so excuse me if not.

The CPU seems to meet the specs, though, so if you had a better GPU, I would say you could play it but maybe just have to turn some settings down.

It has 32mb dedicated but it can draw on the system ram, you can run it but it wouldn't be great.

What ? RAM is not at all the same as VRAM.

Integrated graphics chips will have a specific dedicated ram, then use the system ram as needed.

That's how they work. Small amount of dedicated (on the die) ram, and use the system for the rest.

It would definitely not be a pleasant experience, but it could still run

Right, but we are talking about a significant loss of performance here, right, by allowing the system RAM to make up that much of a difference ?

The bus width and speed is not near in comparison, right ?

And OP only has 4 GB of RAM total anyway.

HOWEVER..this sounds promising if possible on OP's computer...

It's Intel Atom, it's netbook with "cutted" version Intel HD 3000
Half-Life 2 at low settings is the upper limit of the capabilities of this netbook, and games released before 2008...2010, but OP will to increase available memory for videochip

CSGO need at lest, HD 4600 for low settings

I have CSGO running at 60fps on my Intel HD 4000 at 1080p and is above lowest settings
