Really low fps on HP Pavilion G7 1357SF
Hello, I just install Windows 7 x64 and all drivers on my HP Pavilion G7 1357SF.
These are the specs:
Intel Core i5-2450M 2,5Ghz / 3,1GHz Turbo
4Go (4096Mo)DDR3
500Gb HDD
17,3" Monitor
1600 x 900 pixels (HD+) Resolution
AMD Radeon HD7450M 1024Mo DDR3
------
And I am getting only 30 fps when playing, and less than 5 in smoke. Compared to friends laptop that is way slower, he gets 50 fps+ when playing.
Things I tried to fix:
Unpark all CPU cores
Change the options to High Performance in settings
Changing the settings on amd catalyst manager to max performance (not max quality)
Also did that with intel graphic manager
And I put CS GO on High Performance
After all that I am now getting even more lag spikes and SV and VAR are red on net_graph 1
Also I have changed the video settings in cfg of cs go and steamusers
I dont know what else should I do. Please help me.
Thanks.

There is no good reason to stick with a 32-bit OS anymore. You're probably not running legacy programs that demand it.

Yeah, well originaly this laptop came with win 7 x64. Just I am wondering if the driver for graphic card from HP support is good or not. Since as I said, it did not show any new versions, but when I try to search with amd graphic driver program that search and updates the driver for graphic card, it show a new version but after installing it, it said graphic card is not supported..

You should be able to download all the system drivers from HP and install them first, starting with chipset and then the rest. After that you should be able to go to AMD's official site and download and update the GPU drivers.

Yeah I did that, installed all the drivers from HP, amd graphic driver too, just after that when trying to update it via same driver I got an message no updates found, however, after installing amd auto detection driver installer, it installed a new latest version, and after instalation I got a message saying my graphic card is not supported.. Idk which driver to install..

This laptop (AMD video) work only with manufacturer drivers and only with W7
not support XP (not support switchable graphics) W8 (problems with drivers wifi, video, acpi&media buttons, ambient light sensor (you need use old driver, not new, otherwise - use hacked firmware&driver) ), W10 (no Bluetooth, even not show as Unknown device)

Model with nVidia have less problem, and can be upgraded to W10 - if you not need built-in Bluetooth.
