Really low fps on HP Pavilion G7 1357SF
Hello, I just install Windows 7 x64 and all drivers on my HP Pavilion G7 1357SF.
These are the specs:
Intel Core i5-2450M 2,5Ghz / 3,1GHz Turbo
4Go (4096Mo)DDR3
500Gb HDD
17,3" Monitor
1600 x 900 pixels (HD+) Resolution
AMD Radeon HD7450M 1024Mo DDR3
------
And I am getting only 30 fps when playing, and less than 5 in smoke. Compared to friends laptop that is way slower, he gets 50 fps+ when playing.
Things I tried to fix:
Unpark all CPU cores
Change the options to High Performance in settings
Changing the settings on amd catalyst manager to max performance (not max quality)
Also did that with intel graphic manager
And I put CS GO on High Performance
After all that I am now getting even more lag spikes and SV and VAR are red on net_graph 1
Also I have changed the video settings in cfg of cs go and steamusers
I dont know what else should I do. Please help me.
Thanks.

you might have some background programs runing witch can screw up the cpu, and make sure you fan settings are not on the quietist setting, that can also screw with fps

1 Daemon tools have side effect of making some rootkits invisible to anti-virus
2 TeamViewer - on last week was hacked server and all users passwords leaked, same with TeamSpeak...
3 mTorrent - slowdown pc with single HDD, break firewall protection, have backdoors
4 AVG - interfere with Steam, can block, remove or slowdown Steam
5 this laptop use old bugged series of Seagate HDDs - have 2 firmware updates on hp support (decrease performance, lost data)
and K-Lite Codeck Pack - Full or Mega edition broken some system libraries - DirectX, built-in codecks...

So what should I do now?

1. Uninstall
2. Uninstall
3. Uninstall
4. Uninstall
5. Update
Seven7 Jun 3, 2016 @ 3:23am
At least:
check the situation with the Seagate HDD, the existing version of firmware
try to set up rules for anti-virus to avoid unnecessary scans

At maximum:
replace Seagate HDD and DVD to SSD for OS + HDD WD Black 7200 in HDD bay for games and data

Adobe Acrobat Reader - for viewing pdf SumatraPDF enough, which takes 50-100 times less disk space, and not affected 0days of Adobe, because it supports only the basic functions of the standard pdf - for example, it does not support js and embedded exploits simply do not work

K-Lite Codec easily replaced Media PlayerClassic Home Cinema (without installer) + Standalone media codecs version without installer (unless of course, you do not perekodiruesh audio and video, especially for car cd or tv set-top boxes)

I did not understand for what used Java? - Without it safer, if no urgent need for it (some programs and MMO games) - uninstall

last 2 years M$ release over 30 "hotfixes" that broken W7, 8 and decrease it performance (most - GWX rootkit and telemetry spyware) - when it not installed it dramatically increase performance on old laptops with single HDD - i tested on my laptop - when all installed, HDD activity LED allways ON (ewen when nothing runned), when not - only 1-3 times in minute... with browser, Steam and audioplayer runned

In fact, you do not need Revo Uninstaller - all that it does, you can make with other tools that are not monitored constantly drive and registry, adding I\O HDD high load - ccleaner portable, avz, etc.
unless, of course, you are not installed heap of junk every days, and unlicensed software ...;) but then it would be safer to use virtual machines and sandbox or software for making partition images

Uninstallers and cleaners do more harm than good, it is better not to install trash, than wiping traces...

Ok so you suggest me to install all drivers only and after that just few programs like winrar and avg maybe? Also should I install windows 7 32bit instead of 64bit that I have installed?
The Giving One Jun 3, 2016 @ 2:20pm
Wow...Skype, Daemon Tools, AVG (multiple processes), and uTorrent. And TeamSpeak but that one probably only gives mic issues sometimes.

Thanks for the list. I concur also...uninstall all of those and reboot.

If games were affected, perform this exactly for each game before playing and only AFTER uninstalling all that from above...

I am going to install windows again. I just don't know should I install win7 32bit or 64bit. Thanks!

Ok so you think 64bit is better for my laptop? Also when I istall the driver from hp support center for graphic card, everything was ok, and when I check for updates on that driver it did not show any, but after I download amd auto scan for graphic driver, it showed that I need to install another driver. After I install it I got an error saying that the graphic card is not compatibile with driver. So which driver should I install?
