How to save screenshots to pc
I know how to capture them with F12. How do I retrieve them and add them to a folder on my computer so that I can share elsewhere?

Use ShareX, you can set it to a folder where you can save all screenshots.

Open the screenshots for a specific game in the games library then under the preview image there is several options, view on disc.is the one you want.
Create a shortcut to that folder to your desktop with game name.
Screenshot can be stored all over the place on your pc so this is really the most accurate method to locate the screenshot directory for a specific game.
Mosty games store screenshots in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\148981505 but they are just all numbered.

press Windows Key + Print screen and it will save them to your pictures folder automatically.

You can use the snippy tool for windows which also saves to your pictures folder.

Or you can go to your screenshots folder in your steam, users directory and grab them out of there.

I think that only works for Windowed and Borderless Windowed.
If you run game in fullscreen it'll just capture black color.

After capturing game screenshot on steam by using f12, go to games library page on steam, scroll all the way down and click ''view screenshot library''.

To easily locate them after taking them
Steam > Settings > Cloud Check the Open the screenshot folder after closing game

Might get annoying if you don't want it everytime though.

As mention earlier the Printscreen key won't do anything in fullscreen mode and if a user wants to take multiple they won't want to Paste into paint and save them manually in the middle of a game. Windows Key + Print Screen would be better as it's save automatically. Again not useful if playing in fullscreen mode.

Also, Windows "doesn't know" the game you're playing. With Steam, it puts screenshots into "per game" folders already. Set those folders to sort by modification date, and you even get them shown in the order taken.

Those are normal images; I just drop them into imgbb if I want to show something that I don't think is worth wasting Steam cloud capacity for.

Just open your steam folder and enter into the search bar : ''Screenshots''

Then you'll just have to see which folder is what game and you'll see all the Screenshots you made.
The pictures are already jpg files just copy and paste them where you want them.

NO NEED TO INSTALL ANY PROGRAMM
