How do I get unbanned from a game discussion?

So heres what happened, I got banned from all Gmod discussions. I am guessing I won't get unbanned but its worth a try. So anyway people were asking for a way to get textures for Gmod without having to buy the crap game CSS. So I put a link to textures that I was unnaware at the time was illegal. I figured it wasnt illegal because they were only textures and didn't give you acess to actually play a game but just to ignore the pink and black textures that we all know and hate. But after I discussed it with people I guess it sort of makes sense because it is a trademark texture of CSS however It dosnt make sense how if it is not included with gmod because Garry dosnt have permission for these textures he can still use models for the textures to be mounted too without having and legal issues but I guess that really isnt my problem. I deleted my post to the link once I was told it was illegal to link those textures. I was still banned though. Which makes me opening my new server for DarkRP hard because I can't advertise it to get players. Anyway I was unaware it was against the rules to link textures but I know that dosn't make it ok even though I was only trying to be helpfull. Is there anyway to get unbanned? or somewhere to put a unban appeal to the gmod discussions? If not that is ok, thanks in advance.

the game hubs are run by the developers that appoints admins and mods this is out of steams hands per se as they only provide the service so what you want to do is contact the admins/mods from gmod if you cant get through there try the developers.

You can appeal you ban by replying to the ban message...however, seeing what you already posted as a reply, I wouldn't count on that happening.

Moderation its self, is not discussed in the forums.
