"Wanted Thread" Unable to edit gameplay videos.

Apologies if this post is not in the correct part of the community forum but, I have made a gameplay video using fraps and I am unable to edit them using camtasia studio 8 or MS Expression Encoder, because of something to do with the programs not being able to decode FPS1 what ever that is.

Any suggestions as to what editing software that will work? As this is starting to bug me.

First its best to post these on help and tips

Second why are you using Fraps to start with? it takes lots of space and there better software out there any way.

What type of editing you want to do to the video?

Just to cut seens that are not needed and add an intro at the beggining and fraps is the only software that does not slow gameplay down. and how do i change where this post is to help and tips without having to re type.

Windows Movie Maker is good enough for splitting, slow motion, simple effects and music. Download Windows Live Essentials, and you should get it. Expression Encoder is (I think, im not sure) used for compressing or switching the video file type, and you may have to use the expression recorder or something (I used it before, and I thought it was terrible).

Using Handbrake and Windows Maker can make some good enough videos and have them at a nice small file size without much loss of quality.

Well dont know using a few recording software like Dxtory and OBS never seen it slowing my gameplay
Maybe max on 2 FPS or something but nothing really bad... or that i can really notice...

On any case Is Windows Movie maker good for what you want?

And last there is no real way for you to move it, but maybe a mod will pass by and move it him self.. if its needed
