Should i be requesting a refund or some sort of action
as i had played 1000s of hours prior to this block.

You will not get refunds like this.

If you do not agree with it you can contact steam and they will remove the game from your account.
refund should be available when devs pull this stunt.... but i want the block taken off the games i have already payed for...

A refund system would be too abusive and is not something that can be enforced here or in the normal world.

You would have to agree with this eula or the block happens it looks like.
You agreed that this could happen when you agreed to the first eula. They all contain the clause about potential future changes. So you aren't entitled to anything.
i dont know...I am the one being abused as my games are held hostage.... if someone changed the password on your account... i am sure something would be done...

quoted because the op deleted his post and reposted it :P
i understand what is being said... but i have paid for these games... and they are asking for a new agreement... but nowhere in the first agreement does it say your games will be blocked if you dont not agree to future changes... or does it... and should that be made clearer....
When you agree to the original EULA you agree that they can change the EULA in the future and that not agreeing to that EULA may result in a revocation of your license

Don't whine about the consequences of your own actions when those consequences are plainly laid out in the beginning, which you agree to, then you magically get upset when the thing you agree to actually happens. Take some responsibility for the problem YOU created.
I'm not really upset.... i aint spending money with this company... thier loss now...

i just dont think we should be made to give everything away because game makers
say thats what they want us too with the.... or else we will take everything away from you...

it just doesnt seem right on so many levels...
You really ask for a refund for a game you've played 1000 hours on?! I think the developers have more than earned your money with this.

Anyways, if they change the term of agreement for you to use their service - i.e. the multiplayer -, you have to agree to the new ones to continue to do so. It's quite normal. Happens with everything. Facebook, Spotify, cable providers, ...
What's the big change that no longer makes you agree with it, btw?
the amount of hours matters not... the real issue is that i have my goods taken away from me because i choose not to partake in a new agreement... which also stops me making future purchases... if anything my history would indicate i support this game very well..
Question.
As you probably have not read the first eula you agreed to, why not accept the new one without reading it too?
Problem solved?
LOL.... your right... but when it is brought to your attention that advertising and data mining are cool and grooby new additions then you sort of have to ask yourself where does it all S T O P . . . .
