Low FPS with GTX 1060 !
Hi I recently bought a gaming Pc with the Folloing specs:
GPU: Nvidia ASUS TURBO-GTX1060-6G
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700, 4× 3400 MHz
PSU: 500 W
RAM: 16 Gb DDR4
On any game i played so far on Steam (Rocket League , Metro 2033 , Natural Selection 2, Paladin) I get low FPS of about 20 Frames with everything on Max ? Any Idea why ? I read in reviews and FPS tests that i should easily get 60 FPS ...

Does your CPU have a graphics core and do the games possibly tun on that?

Bought it where and how, exactly please ? Prebuilt ?

Prebuilt computers can have bloatware and often need system drivers updated from the official source. And I am not only talking about GPU drivers here.

We would need the exact motherboard or link to where you got the computer. Unless you bought it from an independent source (friend, relative, etc.) that built it instead.

After checking what the good ReBoot suggested, I would check first for problematic software and driver updates from the official source.

That i7 has a Intel HD Graphics 530 inbuilt, which has performance of a Geforce 450GTS from 2011/2012 :cocochan2: 20 FPS would be just right

I assume the computer came from the shop with the integrated card as default. You can find out by typing "dxdiag" to search in windows.

I also suggest to install drivers directly from nVidia or install Geforce Exprience which will do that automatically for you each time a new version appears.
By a new series like GTX 1000 is, you really should always update as long it can improve the card performance by a large margin compared older models.

Did you plug your monitor into the actual 1060, as it shows you should do in the 6th picture?

Download the latest Nvidia driver.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/107564/en-us

Under Nvidia's Control Panel -> [3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > *Under {Global Settings} -tab* > Preferred graphics processor.]

And i also that my PC is using the Internal graphics card instead of the 1060 . I dont know where to change it tho..
Well, that is all in a different language, but I made out the main board at least, according to that link you posted.

ASUS H110M-A

This is where to get official driver updates and check for them, except for the GPU.

To be completely fair, given the other in- and outputs in the picture, I don't see where else OP could've plugged the monitor in.

Probably isn't anyway.

Your problem is likely this considering it being the only game you've even played since 2014:

Only played DOTA 2 since June 28th, and then there's this other thread regarding a similar-ish issue: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/350543951940513882/

Don't just take "Low FPS" as "It's the same exact problem and thus reason."
