I have a CD key sold from a verified reseller that can be activated in Canada. Can I travel to Canada to activate this game?

As far as I know, keys that can be activated in Canada should be ROW, and activate in the US as well. I have never heard of a Canada specific key.

This is Mafia 3 on Gamesplanet and I was also surprised to find US not available when Canada is on the list. The staff also confirmed this. Also, I'd like to add that the restriction is ONLY the activation. They said that the game itself is not region locked.

Is this service legal?

Our service is legal - all of our keys come directly from the Publisher. A portion of the money that you pay for the games (not to mention the lion's share) will go to the Publisher. All the games we sell are with their express permission. Do I need VPN for activation?

I'm not here to change your perspective on Key sellers, verified or not. I find most sketchy too.

Then don't come here claiming your seller is 'verified'. If he's a verified seller he's not selling you region locked keys out of region without letting you know in advance and most likely blocking you from purchase without you using a VPN to buy it.

The store is in the list and I don't know why you people are coming in here inquiring about the validity of the seller. This is NOT the point of discussion. I have asked the seller if I could do this and the staff kinda said yes. Now I'm trying to verify this with steam so I don't get locked out of my account.
