Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn adapter

So I can join a tf2 match just fine and a few seconds in I get "connection problems" which clear up then about 2 minutes later i get it again, get dropped from the serve and can even rejoin to start playing again before the same thing happens, the whole time my internet is in fact connected and I can even get on the internet via my browser but once I start actually browsing time goes by and i get no connection again even though I'm connected. i have trouble shot and consistently get "no issues" but occasionally get "DNS server not responding" to which I've set my primary dns server address to 208.67.222.222 and when that didn't work i tried using the command prompt actions ipconfig/flushdns, "/registerdns, "/release, "/renew and retry to no avail. After this i reapplied the dns server values and tried again, still the same crap. I'd really apreciate any help because I'm really tired of joining and then getting the connection drop kick.

Sorry it's just I'm pretty frustrated. And I cant, no Ethernet port. I'm using an Hp stream pc 11 though I do know it's not the internet since every other device using the internet connects and works just fine

Yeah, you'd also be better off posting in the hardware forum.

It's probably just something causing interference with the wifi signal.

You could either get a usb to ethernet adaptor so you could connect wired or try to improve the wifi signal.

To improve the signal you could try different channels for your wifi, move any metal furniture which could be weakening the signal, disable any bluetooth devices (including the adaptor in the pc) as bluetooth an wifi operate on the same frequency and make sure there isn't something like a big tv, fridge freezer, microwave or any electrical device which can produce a strong enough electromagnetic field between you and the router.
