How do I use my ps3 controller on my pc without motioninjoy (cos its dodgy) on windows 10?

I downloaded skyrim but I prefer to use controllers and I've looked at pretty much every tutorial in the past and they all are just like 'download this and download that' but to be honest I'd rather not download some risky programs that aren't definitely legit. If possible I'd to download the least amount of stuff possible. (like you know, except games)

Don't use a controller, you can't use it without getting fishy softwares that take surveys and ♥♥♥♥, just use the keyboard and mouse, its easier anyway.

I use that as well and it works just fine. Just read the guide on how to install it and it'll be easy.
