Logitech F710 not working in Rocket League (or other game) but does show up in control panel en tests just fine. (Win10)
I had this problem were my Logitech F710 gamepad wouldn't respond in Rocket League. The controller did hower show in the control panel and i could test and calibrate it just fine.

This means: the batteries are ok, the connection is ok, my gamepad is basically working ok.
Also i checked the driver and even reinstalled the driver (it shows up as a Xbox 360 peripherals - Xbox 360 controller for Windows in the windows device manager. (i checked, it's the right one.)

However i recently switched hardware in my pc, and after i reinstalled windows 10 on it i just plugged in my disk with my steam apps still installed on it.

Before that however i had a different gamepad with wich i had to use the X360ce emulator to make the gamepad work with Rocket League. (i don't use a gamepad with other games)

The dll's that the emulator generates, overwrite the ones in you original steam game installation folder.

(The F710 is windows compatible and doesn't need aditional drivers or emulators, in most cases)
I even reinstalled Rocket League but apparently the dll's remained and are therefore still present after the reinstallation.

So these dll's were the problem in my case. I removed them, together with the x360ce.exe (wich was also still in the game folder).

(from the web: "Delete x360ce.exe, x360ce.ini and all XInput DLLs from the game's executable directory.")

Problem was solved, i booted the game and it worked fine as of then.

I hope this tip may help anyone in a similar situation. And i didn't post this under the Rocket League topic because i'm pretty sure this may also happen with other games.

in W10 you have to update driver of F710 gamepad into a XBOX360 Wireless controller for Windows. Then XInput won't be a problem.

Like i explained, if you used x360ce, then delete the dll's it creates from your game folder. That sorts it out. (x360ce creates one or two dll's when installing)

If you haven't used x30ce then this post is not for you, sorry.
