How do I fix the .net framework 3.5 error from rust?

When I start to install the game there came the error and its the only one game installed on my pc right now I have windows 8.1

First of all, theres no .NET 3.54, only 3.5. Second, .NET 3.5 is an installable feature on Windows 8.

Post the model and model number of that computer. If it is custom built, post the exact motherboard that you have.

An issue that's on your computer?

Best you can do is refund if you don't get the game to work, but it's still an issue on your computer.

And I'd like to assume people "of course" post all this relevant information in their starting post, which you didn't do - so I'm not going to play the "of course" -game with you.

Please post what you've tried, rather than leave it as an abstract. The error would still suggest you don't have it properly installed.

Given that googling it leads directly to an MS knowledge base article of a .NET 3.5 installer error, it's safe to assume the error is displayed by the .NET 3.5 installer.
