GTA V REMOVED FROM LIBRARY

I have purchased GTA V long time ago and now I don't have access to it. It was completely removed form my library without any reason.
Can someone help... How do I get it back?

Remove the email address.
Check the mail you got as a receipt.

Did you actually buy it on Steam?
If yes, the receipt will contain the account name of the account the game was purchased on.

The account you're posting from is limited and does not have any games, which indicates, you are on the wrong account.

If you bought it from a shady Key seller site, the developers have revoked access to the game because it was not a legit key.

So where did you buy it?

You are replying to a list of instructions on what to do. Do them. Now you know what to do.

i bought it from steam directly and i have the receipt. the game was on this account and its gone from rockstar's launcher also.

Keep in mind this is a userforum. No one here works for Valve and you shouldn't provide anyone with sensitive information.

Again, check the receipt mail, which has the account name of the account that the game was purchased on. Compare that to the account name of the account you're currently using.

The account name is the private account name which you use to login into your account.
This is not the public profile name we're talking about.

How long ago did you buy it? "A long time ago" is not an adequate measurement of time.

You sure this is not just one of them crash steam client issue with a game appear as uninstall or lost content and filter is on installed then you wont see it. and then things got removed, this is a know steam library issue atm.

Contact steam support and explan them this , steam is the problem with the ways they do it and OS is part of the clean up procedur.

ps.
dosbox game did not delete themself when crashed pc or un install things or lost content, you need a burnout disk for that.

@Iceira, just take a look at their account, limited with 0 games. It's not a case of "not installed".

Wrong account maybe, not the first time we have seen this, then it will fit as not there anymore, but you are right there, i assume he most know if he had bought it or not, there is no other way to explan this.

or not a steam game but Rockstar own launcher just as i did in preorder.

Also the file name is called GRAND THEFT AUTO 5 LEG..look for that..also contact both steam and rs for your answer
