Lost product key paper for fallout 4 physical copy

Every where i am looking is telling me i may be screwed with this one but in the process of moving across country i lost the product key for the game.. i am on a new laptop so of course i have to reinstall it and whoever is screwing around on my old pc some how deleted any trace of the game on steam... can any one point me in the right direction i spent a good amount of money on this and the first three expansions... would love to be able to fix this!!Help

This isnt steams fault that you lost it they won't refund you sorry if this doesnt help you.

If you already activated the game on your Steam account, you don't need the key anymore. Games are tied to accounts forever once activated with keys. Just download it again and play it.

Why would someone be able to get into your Steam account on another computer, if that is what you are talking about in your title post ?

EDIT..But looking at this account you are posting with, it does not appear that you have activated it yet so if that is the case, it is curious as why you have not, unless your account is compromised, and they deleted it from your library, then you can still get it back on your account by way of using support.

But the first thing that you need to be concerned with is the compromise, if that is what is going on there.

My Account was shared by family and when i moved there where problems I also had ark survival which i see was played recently as well and i havent been on steam in at least four or five months personally. Ark survival is still there for redownload but any trace of fallout 4 is gone
how would i go about redownloading it then because it was once on here and has been played..sorry if i sound stupid not very savvy with this stuff

Sounds like you activated it on a different account then, in which case finding the key will be useless since you wont be able to activate it on this account as well.

And you will definitely not get any satisfaction out of Valve for it, as you not only didn't purchase it from them, but it was legitemitely activated on a different account (they wont transfer betwen accounts)

I can see ARK on this account that you are posting with, but not Fallout 4. So if someone got into your account and removed that game, you can still get it back as the license is still tied to this account that the key was activated on. You need to get help from support for that, as far as I know, or use the help page maybe. I have never done this, so I am not sure.

But you need to be more concerned with how your account got compromised and how someone else got into it. Family sharing would not cause this. Someone with access to the account would have had to remove the game themselves.

This is one of your two friends so could this be your other account ? It has Fallout 4 and ARK as well.
