It can be a right pain sometimes. I've had it and typically it's cleared by simply making sure Origin is completely closed on your PC (not running the background at all).
Then restart Origin (not via the game) on it's own. Log in.
THen when it's up, try to run your game through steam.
Then you restrt it ALONE (not through Steam).
be opened
If it's not working, something could be blocking the verification of Origin. This means ensuring Origin is running with administrator privileges plus that the app is completely up to date and isn't being interrupted by a Firewall process.
The problem is that ofttimes when you open a game there's often a communciation problem between steam and origin. I've had it myself a few times.
And that's how I solve it.
Have you tried also removing Origin and resintalling it completely, then going through as I suggested? NOT through steam, but opening it, logging in, leaving it open THEN running steam and the game itself?
