Star Wars the Old Republic not loading
Does anyone else play this game and have had trouble getting the launcher to work? I can sign in but when I hit launch I just get a spinning circle in the launcher. I have let it sit for a while and see if something happens and nothing does. I have tried calling customer service for SWOTOR but they are not very helpful.

Probably an Origin issue. It's quite common for Origin games to do behaviour like this.

The way I've found to fix it (if it is this) is to simply quit Origin. Launch it again and sign in on it's own. Leave it then running and THEN try to launch your game through steam.

It can often be an update that trips it up too and this generally fixes it.

So do you download the launcher from the swotor website that is not for steam? I did try to create another account and just do a direct download that did nothing.

Does SWTOR use Origin to log in or do you go through the launcher?

I'm not familiar with the game itself. If it uses Origin then log into that itself then use the launcher.

Swotor not on origin it is on EA.
Origin IS EA's thing.

When you log in it's an Origin login.
