YOu say it's returned FROM customs in the UK< but where is it now? Because if it's with some customer somewhere, you should try ringing them and asking them why it's been returned.
Commonly it's when there's some sort of issue. It could have been damaged under inspection, or most often it's because there's some extra duty to be paid.
But if they've told you it's gone there, they will know why.
If it isn't and customs are clueless why it's been returned then you'd be best served getting back to the hauliers and asking them what the ♥♥♥♥ they are going to do to fix the issue.
