How to launch a random installed game?
I have roughly 1000 games installed across 3+ drives, is there a way to launch a randomly selected game chosen from the installed games (not all ~4000 games)?

? Doesn't sound like a method to have the computer randomly launch a game from my installed games.

There's something very not random about that, it chose Skyrim about 3 out of ten times, the odds of that should be over a billion to one.

Don't know what to tell you. I just clicked 30 to 40 times, and got nothing double. As for the odds, no computer RNG is truly random, so they'll be a lot better than over a billion to one.

Meh, I've completed Skyrim and most of the quest-lines.

This isn't bad:

But it's not installed games, I don't think any website can do this, it has to be local software. CPUCores has a button to do it, but it's a tad expensive to buy just for that button, I'd buy it if it were on deep discount.

This looks promising:

...What a faff to install though, requires setting up other software first and like, stuff.

[edit] doesn't sound like it's just installed games anyway.

Did you ever end up finding a quality solution to this? You're in top searches for "randomized game launcher," we need a savior

If there was a way to add numbers next to the games in the library list, you could use anything, like random.org..... that would at least be easier to make, than the randomizer itself.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
