How to Hide Gamebans.
Is there a way to hide Gamebans so other people don't instantly assume you're hacking when they see it? I've done wrong and hacked in Rust, but that doesn't mean i'm hacking in other games. And apparently people still think VAC's are gamebans, but apparently can't tell the difference.. Lol.

Actually, according to your account you have "Multiple game bans on record" which would seem to indicate that you have been hacking in other games.
All cheaters are liars, here's more proof.
Ogami 24 października 2016 o 19:04
That everyone can see them even on hidden profiles is part of the punishment for cheating.
Everyone is SUPPOSED to assume you are a cheater when they see your profile.
Thats the whole point.

Great here comes the trolls, the other "multiple game bans" was from Arc and Arma 3, As I logged into arma 3 with the hacks still on my computer. I was banned from rust first, and then banned 3 weeks later in arc survival evolved(Has BattlEye Servers like Arma 3), and Arma 3. I already contacted the game developers about the game ban, and they're LIFTED because i didn't hack in the games(But the game bans stay shown on your account), I just had the hacks on my desktop "HelioS_Framework" For Rust.

I don't play Arma 3, or Arc Survival Evolved because they're straight up boring, so idk why I got the bans lifted.

1. How is pointing out what it says on your profile "trolling?"

2. Gamebans can be removed by the developer. If they were lifted, they should have been.

Game Bans are not VAC Bans and they are issued by the individual game. Steam Support is unable to remove your in-game bans or to provide you with further information about your ban. All the information you can receive about the ban has been provided to you in-game.

Read our FAQ on Game Bans.

3. It's not a good idea to publicize your account name. I would reccomend editing that post.

4. The fact that it says you have 3 gamebans on your account, according to what you posted would seem to indicate they hadn't been lifted.

5. In another post you claimed you were banned because of family sharing. And in another post you claimed you don't even have Arma 3 installed and in this thread you claimed you don't play it but according to Steam, you have played Arma recently in the past two weeks.

6. I think most people know the diifference between VAC and gamebans. I think they think a ban is a ban and that if you have multiple bans, you're a serial cheater.

As the good Boss just pointed out, you should use the edit feature and remove your account login above. Just trying to help you out here.

EDIT....

And as the good Ogami mentioned above.......

"More recently, game bans were added to users’ Steam profile pages. This was done for two reasons. The first reason was to help banned users know why they cannot join a protected matchmaking server. Many users were confused when they received an error trying to connect to a matchmaking server and yet did not see any bans on their account. The second reason was to allow other users to see whether accounts they had suspected of cheating were, in fact, banned. It can be frustrating to play a game with a cheater, and it helps to know when such a user is removed from the matchmaking system."

"The duration of the game ban is determined by the developer. Only permanent game bans are displayed on the user’s profile. Temporary game bans, or suspensions, are not displayed."

So basically "Wow I cheated and I got caught but dont call me a cheater! If you do you're a troll"

I claimed It was family share, because I didn't know how I got banned at the time. So don't assume ♥♥♥♥, you're pretty illogical man. I have someone on my friend list who was banned off of Rust, and had his ban removed off of Rust/Lifted, but still have the game ban on his account, even tho it has been lifted by the Developer. And what the hell is a Serial cheater? I've only hacked in Rust, lol. But apparently you can not comprehend anything.

And plus the only people who accuse me of hacking because of Game bans is in CS:GO.
Honestly it's so stupid, apparently having a clutch 1v5 for the first time is hacking instantly! Lmao. I only asked if I can hide the Game ban, all you had to say is No. Not go in my past posts, or say other ♥♥♥♥ to make me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ feel bad. So back the ♥♥♥♥ up.

With all due respect, simply saying a ban was removed does not make it so. As you can see on the official information concerning game bans fromt he support page I have posted above, only permanent game bans are displayed on the user's profile.

Removed means just exactly what that word means.......removed. If it is not removed, then it is permanent until removed.

Thanks for semi-civil.. But I had to go and personally Email Battleye about my Global Ban that was placed on me 3 weeks AFTER my Rust ban. So I don't know if It was Family share getting me banned, or me having the hacks for Rust on my desktop, and logged into Arma 3 to play the game, and was banned 3 weeks later. Idk.
