Open the Steam client. Click "Steam" and then "Settings". In the new window, go to the "Web Browser" tab and click "Delete web browser cache".

Are you talking about the Steam client? Or both client and web browser? Also you can allways try to wait for a Steam update, re-download Steam. Even restart PC sometimes fix problems.

I had a problem with bitdefender Threat Scanner, where a file corrupted and as soon as that happened, the steam store stopped working. Tried reinstalling steam and a few other fixes suggested in other threads. This was the one that worked. Thanks. <3

I'm fixed too thanks to the delete browser cache thingie. Didn't even have to reset! Before this fix, even a total system reset did nothing.
