Wingspan is, as far as I know, available in the App store and should run on your device if bought there.
Only Windows and Mac OS are supported, not iOS.
I suggest you get a refund.
If you're planning to stream the game to your phone, you have two options.
A) You need PC connected to the internet, to stream to your phone that also connected to the internet, you be using Steam play via app store to stream game from PC to your phone.
- OR -
B) Check to see if Nvidia GeForce Now supports the game before buying, if it does, then you can stream the game to your phone using Nvidia GeForce Now cloud gaming service. Download the Nvidia GeForce Now via app store.
If you want native gameplay that not stream to you, you have to get the game via App store on your phone, not from Steam, or anywhere else.
1. Referred to Steam by a friend in a different country and who is unaware that I possess only an iPhone .
2. I go onto Steam, read introductory stuff, create a logon, download the mobile thing, did the steam guard, contributed to Steam wallet, found and connected to friend, accepted a gift, PURCHASED wingspan and finally was blocked at the download game point.
Easy, peasy. All that without any mention that the offered games will not work on an iPhone , not a hint.
The Help option was NO help since the “Launch” never launched with NO suggested reason for the no launch.
I have requested a refund. And wondered to the authorities WHY , somewhere on the title page, in the introductory remarks, during attempts to purchase … there is no suggestion as to how the offered games will not work on the connected platform .
I’m certain this is possible because others do this detect the connected device’s capabilities and make suggestion for a happier outcome.
It might tell you there's cross platform support, but if there is, it would rather be unusual.
