You don't get labled as a cheater just because you have a crosshair.
Way back in the olden days, the developers felt that crosshair mods ruined the cinematic experience of Payday 2, and felt that players should either use optics (scopes) or laser gadgets to aim assist. This is really no longer the case, since Payday 2 has long since been a heist simulator.
So no don't worry. Play. Mod. Heist. Just overall have fun.
