Capped at 60 fps...
I need help ASAP. Normally I run most of my games at 70to 100 fps but around 2 months ago, ALL of my games are capped at 60. The screen tearing is absolutely heinous. Even games like Tf2 is almost frustrating to run. I've turned off game dvr and v-sync in every game but It's still capped at 60.Some guides online said something about "full screen optimizations" but when I access the properties page of the exe file, there's no compatability tab there -_-. Is there a console command to override this or is there a way to get the compatabilty tab to show? I'm also using Windows 10 if that's of any use...

Screen tearing is due to a difference in FPS from you monitor to what the game is trying to push out. Capping it (Vsync) actualy fixes screen tearing, not causes it.

There is a vsync option in most games. There is also a vsync option in the Nvidia/AMD controls that can force vsync on/off, reguardless of a games settings..

Is there this v-sync option for intel graphics also ? I'm trying to get rid of the cap. Everything ran as smooth as butter before.
