No connection with Steam from Wine or PlayOnLinux

Hello all,

I have a strange problem with Steam regarding Wine and PlayOnLinux. Yesterday I installed Ubuntu again after a period of time being a Windows 10 user and I also installed native Steam since a couple of my games in my collection is Linux compatible. That all works fine but for some reason I cannot access the Steam store when running Steam inside Wine or PlayOnLinux. The Steam client fires up and I can see my collection but I can't view the store and download the game I want. I want to install some games which worked before such as Doom 2016.

But for some reason the store isn't connected with the Steam client, I tried many solutions on the internet such as adding a parameter to the Steam.exe program but it didn't worked. Are there more Linux users here with the same problem?

Thanks for your reply, however I did manage to find the solution for the problem with downloading games with Steam. Turns out there is something wrong with the latest build of Steam causing this problem.

i also found a solution you need to add
"... CS: ..." and some numbers after config file.
