The only game that's working for me right now is Conan: Exiles
If it still doesn't work then go here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame
Find the game with problems or one of them and click it.
Click "Gameplay or technical issue"
Click "The game doesn't start when I try to launch it"
make a ticket and give out way more info than you did here, list all the things you have tried and what the result was.
So I had to "Allow an app through Controlled folder access".
I did not tought it was the GPU in the begining since i did not update it recently or anything (it was already up to date) that would result in a change ( i was not able to play games which i could before such as Monster Hunter World)) and some other older games (like dark souls or diablo 2) were working fine.
I still do not know what coused the problem (no windows update, or any significant change on PC) but this was the fix for me.
However, all the games i have installed currently work fine but any new game i try to install just opens and then closes straight away.
I have updated windows, graphics card drivers, i have ran the game in compatability mode and steam, verified cache, integrity so im very stuck at this point
Its really weird because its only new games i download all the one i have previously downloaded are fine
Any help is much appreciated
Also, for example only, programs like CCleaner can be possibly conflicting with the games launching.
See this list for that possibility :

It's also linked on this page :
Every security process on your computer needs to be leaving Steam and games alone in real time scanning.
Make exceptions in such programs for Steam and all the games.
EDIT..............
After you make the exceptions, you might need to verify the game files for all games that were affected, before testing the games. If other processes were blocked from first time setup of the games when running them, there can still be other steps that might be needed but you can test that one game at a time :
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
If files were quarantined, then now they need to be reaquired. This is why verifying the game files will do nothing in the long run usually, when there is a security or other software conflict with Steam and/or the games.
You should also make sure to remove those compatibility changes that you made depending on the game in question, as for most games, that should not be needed. Older games for a newer operating system, maybe so, but not so much for newer games at all.
