It's from G2A store, is this store a scam?

Yes! They're well known for doing that to people.

Sorry they did it to you.
The fact their name was censored is why they're terrible.

The fact Steam censors the name should tell you everything you need to know.

The site name is blocked so yes it is a known scam site. Do a chargeback to recover your money.

Secondly use this site which lists authorised keysellers on the right hand side to buy keys.

This is one of the reasons I mainly use Steam when I buy games. You can't always trust the internet - who knew?

It isn't a store, it's a marketplace that facilitates people selling their keys. So when people sell keys they paid for with stolen credit cards or such, expect the keys to disappear when the actual owner of the card does a chargeback.

That aside, no matter where or when you buy your key, the terms you buy it under state it's for personal use and not intended for re-sale. That means all the keys on G2A are technically invalid and at liability to be revoked at will. Say, when a hacker decides to steal and leak their key database to the publishers.

do you really want that sites history and what is does that has earned it getting its name into the filter? here are some of them:

1. selling steam inventory gifts
2. selling used keys
3. selling fake keys
4. selling wrong region keys
5. selling insurance for keys to work
6. telling people to talk to steam support and get information they know steam support will not provide

Game developers have stated they would prefer you pirate their games before you buy from that site.

some people will show up saying they have never had a problem using that site, but they simply got lucky. the site is like a minefield, you can walk thru one without anything happening and never know that you are just a step away from something ruining your day.

Was that the site, that sold keys for a yet-to-be-released game without any means to actually get their hands on them, or am I misremembering that?

It could be that site, but we're not allowed to specificy it here (obviously) but yeah, it would fit in with their digusting practices.

All you really need to know is that they're an EU company and therefore bound by EU laws. And yet they sell an "insurance" package that is prohibitively hard to cancel (breaking thos laws) to prop up their own dodgy business practices when keys don't work (which is also against EU law).

They're absolute scum.

OP should have bought the game from the main website here

https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Destiny/Buy

majority of the games like World of Warcraft, go to their main website and buy the game.

gog website is a secure website to buy games too.

Humble Bundle website is also a secure and safe website too.

and best place is to buy the game directly on Steam Store.

do not go to a random 3rd party malicious websites and buy games.

p.s i'm not surprised if OP's Steam Account is compromised.

No, the DLC is already in existence and has been in operation for about two months.

Unless it's a different store then they're not an EU company, they're registered in Hong Kong, which doesn't change how wary you should be of buying anything from them. It's only their 'customer support services' that's listed with an EU address, which is more akin to all the British companies that outsource customer services to India etc.

Ah well if we're talkinga bout the same one, then that's another alamr bell because companies that split things around countries are something to be wary of too.

Of course4 I'm not saying a company is bad purely by having a registred address in a different country. I think you get what I mean.
