and what software for recording? and what settings? CPU/GPU load?
Why?
It is because GPU is used on both gaming and encoding.
If you stream instead of recording, it causes more load as well.
OBS and StreamLabs are very heavy.
If you have Nvidia card, try ShadowPlay (Alt+F9).
As I tried, it is the least load for recoding.
It also support 4K 60fps recording.

OBS uses the same technology as Shadowplay, hell GPU have a dedicated Chip for encoding.

There are still ways too impact the performance (more Windows level and how it handles priorities) but since OP its being silent...
