Games are downloaded in PDF format
Please help me. I've tried uninstalling the games and the steam client but whenever I download the games back they're still in PDF format.

What exactly do you mean?

This doesn't add up.

DOwnloading the games back? What do you mean by this? You are downloading them from the Steam client, yes?

You aren't clicking on "Manual"?

Are you talking about the Artbook? Because you seem aware that the game is its own, and the soundtrack based upon your reviews;

Manuals/Artbooks are commonly in PDF format. The games themselves, will be in their appropriate formats.

Without knowing more, I'm assuming there is a file association issue on OP's computer. When OP says they are in PDF format, do they mean the game shortcuts have PDF icons? And if you click on one, Adobe or whatever is associated with PDFs tries to open it?

Yes! It shows up as an adobe acrobat document and it doesn't work when I click on it.

Nope. It isn't about the artbook.

So the desktop shortcut thinks it's a PDF huh. What happens if you click the big green "Play" button in Steam itself?

It works as usual, but dang it I get irritated when I can't see it on my desktop. I hardly ever go on Steam so it's just a tad annoying.

Thank you! I'll have a try.
Let's see if it works or not.
If its only the icons on desktop, you want to achieve that the file ending the icons have (.url) is not associated with adobe anymore
but with browser
